Creating the right policy and legislative environment is crucial to support the public, business community and the wider road transport sector in making the switch to electric vehicles.
At ZEVI, we work with colleagues across Government and the public sector to deliver policy solutions which will help accelerate the electrification of the fleet. This includes removing potential obstacles in our planning regulations, identifying interventions to support EVs within the taxation system and introducing new measures which will help us meet our climate targets.
While we look forward through research and collaboration with international colleagues, we are also working to ensure robust governance of our schemes and reviewing our legislation so that is reflects our new zero emission landscape.
